question regarding a line out converter?
Ok, I DONT want the whole run around about replacing my factory headunit with an aftermarket. blah blah blah I am looking for a TEMPORARY, but yet CHEAP way to run my amp and 12" subwoofer off of my stock headunit for my 99 taurus LINE OUT CONVERTER: seems to be the only way without replacing the headunit which for any of you who know about the 96-99 taurus is a pain in the rear. what im asking is, what am I expecting out of the line out converter? seeing as my brother fried my good amp because he is a dimwit and doesnt know how to wire. Im using a 500w rated amp. Im not looking for an award winning system, but I want. no, I NEED a hell of alot more bass than this factory unit provides. I do plan on upgrading, but at this point in time. I lack the funding. I know enough about car audio to know that what im doing is rly stupid but at this point in time im having withdraws from my LACK OF BASS! So, back on track.
